POLICE STATE:

Justice Scalia stayed an execution in Texas 47 minutes before it was to happen because the prosecution hadn't tested DNA evidence from the crime scene, and they kept this evidence from the defense. Now the entire Supreme Court will hear the case. Why do we let prosecutors get away with this?

POLITICS:

Pat Buchanan doesn't believe Obama's report about the Sestak job. Obama lies about everything. He's surely lying about this too. But I don't think it will go anywhere. The press doesn't want to bring Obama down. If Sestak loses in November, Republicans can hold hearings, but those things are generally only for grandstanding.

MISC:

Brits fed up with Obama bashing BP. I'm fed up with Obama, period. James Cameron has given BP his seal of approval for their efforts to cap the leak. We can sleep easier now. Like we didn't already know BP was trying everything it could to stop the leak despite being limited by the government's boot on its neck. Like BP enjoys suffering more liability. Like BP workers on the Gulf enjoy flooding their backyards with oil. What a joke.
