Scientists surprised by orbits of Pluto's moons, calling pandemonium. Criticism produces more and better ideas than non-critical brainstorming.

Scientists surprised by electrical weather on the moon caused by solar wind.

"The moon, however, lacks both an atmosphere and a global magnetic field, and so was thought to passively absorb the solar wind without any noticeable effects." 

This is ignorant. If a body absorbs charged particles, it becomes charged. If it moves, it generates electric currents and magnetic fields. This is freshmen physics.
