JPMorgan Chase gets rid of voicemail for 136,000 employees.
"JPMorgan, for example, will save $3.2 million by cutting voicemail for about 136,000. As great as this sounds, David Lazarus, writing in the LA Times, warns that customer service will suffer."
Of course it will, but they don't care. They're protected by government.

Hastert caught in his own trap.
"Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Dennis Hastert, who helped force through Congress stricter laws against anonymous cash transactions, now faces financial ruin – and an extended jail sentence – thanks to the very same laws."
Oops.

Zimbabwe finally abandons its destroyed currency.
"Zimbabweans will start exchanging 'quadrillions' of local dollars for a few U.S. dollars next week, as President Robert Mugabe's government discards its virtually worthless national currency, the central bank said on Thursday."
Crazy.
