War

Putin blames CIA for terrorism in Chechnya.

Obama tries to claim the US is fighting no ground wars. Tell that to the family of the latest US fighter killed in Afghanistan.

The Iraqi army is getting beat up for fleeing Ramadi. I bet we find out they were ordered to leave like last summer in Tikrit. Or was it Mosul?

Iraqi and Iranian generals dispute claim Iraqi troops had no will to fight.
""Carter was likely given incorrect information because the situation on ground is different," al-Hadithi told the Associated Press. "We should not judge the whole army based on one incident."
Al-Hadithi said the Iraqi government believes the fall of Ramadi was due to mismanagement and poor planning by some senior military commanders in charge. He did not elaborate, nor has any action been taken against those commanders.
In Iran, the daily newspaper Javan, which is seen as close to the Revolutionary Guard, quoted Soleimani as saying the U.S. didn't do a "damn thing" to stop the extremists' advance on Ramadi.
"Does it mean anything else than being an accomplice in the plot?" he reportedly asked, later saying the U.S. showed "no will" in fighting the Islamic State, also known as ISIL or ISIS."
The US definitely has no will. It's fight against ISIS is a sham.

Pakistanis silence critics of US drone attacks.
"Early last year, Pakistani anti-drone activist Kareem Khan received an unannounced visit at his Rawalpindi home from over a dozen unidentified men, some in police uniforms. He was subsequently abducted without being offered any explanation and, over the course of the next nine days, interrogated about his anti-drone work and tortured. After a local court ordered Pakistan’s intelligence agencies to produce Khan he was released and told not to speak to the media.
Khan was due to travel to Europe to testify before parliamentarians about a December 2009 U.S. drone strike on his North Waziristan home that killed his brother and son along with a local stonemason staying with his family. He had also filed a case against the Pakistani government for its failure to investigate the deaths of his family members."
He must have been making headway.
