Politics

Ron Paul notes Republicans and Democrats team up to promote national slavery.
"Former Clinton Administration Labor Secretary Robert Reich recently called on the government to force young people to spend two years either “serving” in the military or performing some other type of government-directed “community service.” Neoconservative Senator John McCain has introduced legislation creating a mandatory national service program very similar to Reich’s proposal. It is not surprising that both a prominent progressive and a leading neocon would support mandatory national service, as this is an issue that has long united authoritarians on the left and right."
Look for this idea to gain traction after the next crash.

Peter Schiff blames the economy for the defeat of the Democrats.
"According to voter exit polls conducted by CNN, 78% said they are worried about the economy, with 69% saying that, in their view, economic conditions are not good. 65% responded that the country is on the wrong track vs. only 31% who believed that it is headed in the right direction."
Obama said he should have talked more about the economy, as if that would have made it better.

Bush the Younger calls Bill Clinton his brother from another mother. Since both are two of the supreme crooks in the US, I'm not surprised.
