Local

Beavercreek city manager retiring and being rehired into the same job so he can get a paycheck and a pension, both stolen from taxpayers, at the same time. This scam is happening all over the region, and the excuses given are ridiculous.

Speedway buys convenience store chain for $2.8 billion.

Instead of simply auctioning off properties to return them to the people, Fairborn stole $31,000 from taxpayers and gave it to cronies to demolish them.
"Demolition of the properties was completed last week. The city will be reimbursed the demolition costs through assessments to the property owners starting after the first of the year.
Fairborn City Council approved a contract last month with Badger Construction to conduct the demolition."
