Luddite blames the internet for impoverishing the middle class. This is another economic fallacy. The problem with big tech companies is patents, not technology. Without patents, the technology sector would experience tremendous competition, and models like micro-payments might be created to gain a competitive edge. But since Google has no real competition, it has no reason to modify its model.

In a great innovation, AT&T allows providers to pay to increase their data caps to customers. The net neutrality crowd hates this. They don't see bandwidth as a scare resource like any other.
