Reason agrees that shutting down government websites is not about saving money but about making life harder for the people.

The House unanimously votes to approve back pay for furloughed government workers. If you thought there was one good Republican in the House, you were fool.

"Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid supports the measure, but said Saturday that if furloughed workers are guaranteed back pay, there’s no reason to keep them out of work."

And Reid is exactly right. Can Republicans shoot themselves in the foot any worse?

I don't believe that this many regulators have been sent home during the furlough.
