War

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu rejected peace plan offered by Jordan and Egypt. Of course he did. He gets money and power from war.

The US military is planning to take over US cities.
"According to “Megacities: Urban Future, the Emerging Complexity,” a Pentagon training video created by the Army for U.S. Special Operations Command, the U.S. military plans to use armed forces to solve future domestic political and social problems.
What they’re really talking about is martial law, packaged as a well-meaning and overriding concern for the nation’s security.
The chilling five-minute training video, obtained by The Intercept through a FOIA request and made available online, paints an ominous picture of the future—a future the military is preparing for—bedeviled by “criminal networks,” “substandard infrastructure,” “religious and ethnic tensions,” “impoverishment, slums,” “open landfills, over-burdened sewers,” a “growing mass of unemployed,” and an urban landscape in which the prosperous economic elite must be protected from the impoverishment of the have nots.
And then comes the kicker.
Three-and-a-half minutes into the Pentagon’s dystopian vision of “a world of Robert Kaplan-esque urban hellscapes — brutal and anarchic supercities filled with gangs of youth-gone-wild, a restive underclass, criminal syndicates, and bands of malicious hackers,” the ominous voice of the narrator speaks of a need to “drain the swamps.”"
2030 seems late.

War

Contrary to Republican claims, military spending under Obama is near historically high levels. It won't last.

At least 60 dead and 100 hostages in coordinated terrorist attack at seven locations in Paris. This is another outrageous government failure. Despite ubiquitous spying, terrorists planned and carried out a highly coordinated attack. Despite France's oppressive gun control laws, the terrorists used guns and bombs. This happens in the Middle East all the time. US and western aggression there has brought those wars to Paris in blowback.

Shepard Smith on Fox News keeps linking the attack to ISIS with no evidence. Now he says one person arrested claims he's Syrian and with ISIS. We know Obama wants to send ground troops into Syria. Now he has his excuse. Convenient. A week ago Pat Buchanan described how the US was being sucked into war in Syria. That's a fait accompli now.

France declared martial law.

Apparently around 100 people were killed in the concert hall by two gunmen. That's what gun control does to law-abiding people.

Death toll reaches 153 and is expected to climb.

War

More evidence the Navy missile launches off the California coast were intended to scare Americans, not foreigners.
"How exactly would it enhance “national security” to test ICBMs in clear view of America’s second-biggest city? A hint was provided when The Los Angeles Times reported that:
“The Navy is considering posting additional photos — and possibly video — of the missile launches after the current exercises are completed, Daniels said, but it has yet to decide.”
This was more a demonstration than a test. That is the only plausible explanation for giving such a public light show."
Controlling us.
"The unnerving spectacle made its biggest impression on the Americans who saw it first-hand. And they were probably its chief intended audience. “Getting people really concerned in L.A.” is exactly what the regime wanted.
Why else would the government clear the skies to paint them with nuclear war games precisely when and where it would have the biggest audience with the best visibility: near a basin full of people in the most densely populated region in the country, at a time (around 6:00 pm) when it is nice and dark, yet millions would be out and about, returning from work, or heading out to dinner?
This was “Shock and Awe” for domestic consumption: an exercise in missile test terrorism. A spooked herd is an easily steered and stampeded herd. And what better way to spook the American herd than by giving it nuclear nightmares?"
Exactly.

War

The missile was visible from San Diego to San Fransisco. I thought nuclear missiles were for foreign targets, not domestic.

Rulers got exactly what they wanted. Not fear from Russians and Chinese. Fear from Americans. If they wanted to scare Russians and Chinese, they could have launched from off their coasts.

War

Obama spends $500 million to train five anti-ISIS fighters.

The Air Force has bombed, shot at and intimidated residents next to Area 51.
"The family’s allegations range from illegal government searches and checkpoints to military jet attacks on the mine and a devastating cancer cluster that has seen the premature deaths of several members.
But the final straw — and the one that drove the Sheahans to end an extraordinary six decades of silence — came last month when the US Air Force (USAF) gave them an ultimatum: sell up for $5.2m or watch it seized and destroyed for free.
The family turned them down, claiming the offer was less than half the true value of the land and didn’t come close to compensating for Area 51’s legacy of disease and lost livelihood."

Jade Helm starts today.
"While the Twitterverse is teeming with Jade Helm commentary, you probably won’t be hearing a whole lot about it from the military. Officials say residents will see little if any of the activity, and military news releases are, ahem, unburdened by an abundance of elaboration."
Unburdened.

I doubt Jade Helm will do anything overt against Americans this year, but it still can't be trusted and shouldn't happen. At the very least, this is getting Americans used to having military operations going on under their noses.

So far US troops have vetted only 60 Syrian rebels who they believe won't fight for ISIS. I bet they all end up fighting for ISIS.

Police State

Fixed Stingray fake cell towers discovered in Britain.

Lies government tells about the USA Freedom Act.

Government covers up long-time FBI connection to killed Boston Marathon bombing suspect.
"Even more notable, as King points out in the exchange with Mueller, was the extensive amount of information Russia gathered on Tsarnaev, an individual living in the US. And yet, as was made obvious by King’s line of questioning, the FBI missed Tamerlan’s “radicalization,” despite already having him on their radar, something Russia was able to do from afar."
If you believe that.
"Recall that three days after the Marathon bombings the Bureau went public with photos of the Tsarnaevs, and asked for public help in identifying them. When they were first publicly named the following day, the Bureau stated that it had not had any previous contact with the brothers. That story held for a few hours—until CBS’s Bob Orr broke the news that the FBI had in fact interviewed Tamerlan years before the bombing. The CBS report made reference to Russia’s RT news network which had released a story quoting the Tsarnaevs’ mother, then living in Russia, who said the FBI had met with Tamerlan and family members numerous times. She also said the Bureau was “controlling him [Tamerlan], they were controlling his every step.”
That same day, likely under the growing media scrutiny, the FBI reversed itself, putting out a press release stating that agents had indeed investigated Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The statement claimed that the probe came about because “a foreign government asked the FBI for information” about him back in March 2011. It also stated that the FBI conducted an “assessment” of Tsarnaev, which was subsequently closed within months because the Bureau “did not find any terrorism activity.”"
Lie upon like upon lie.
"The day after the FBI press release, The New York Times, almost in passing, quoted a “senior law enforcement official” who told Times reporters: “In January 2011, two counterterrorism agents from the Boston [FBI] field office interviewed Tamerlan and family members.” That’s two months earlier than the first contact date in March the FBI had admitted to only the day before. (Please go here and here to see our first reports on this anomaly.) Oddly, the Times has never focused on this seemingly accidental scoop."
Upon lie.
"The relevant pattern, and perhaps the underlying story here, is clear. The FBI has a well-documented history of interacting with vulnerable young Muslims, including recruiting them to stir up potential troublemakers in their community—something even Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s super-cautious defense team brought up in court.
His lawyers filed court papers that declared the FBI’s interactions with Tamerlan “were among the precipitating events for Tamerlan’s actions during the week of April 15 2013.” This was because family members and “other sources” told the defense team that the FBI pressured Tamerlan into becoming an informant on the local Chechen and Muslim community.
Is the Boston Bombing story really about yet another government operation where something went terribly wrong? So wrong that, for government operatives accustomed to covering up errors large and small, it was time to bring out the usual smoke and mirrors—and for the media to pass the official version along to the public without showing the slightest skepticism or investigative initiative?"

War

Tiny, personal drones for special forces.

Iraqis bombard ISIS in Fallujah.
"At least three offensives -- two of the ugliest battles for U.S. troops during the Iraq War, and an Iraqi offensive last year -- appear to have changed little in the long run. "
No kidding.

Our Muslim allies won't fight for the US empire, but they'll fight against it.

More on Jade Helm.
"The massive exercise, led by the US Army’s Special Operations Command (USASOC) under Lt. General Charles T. Cleveland, will include unconventional warfare units from all service branches, including US Army Special Forces, US Navy SEALS, US Air Force Special Operations, and USMC Marine Special Operations Command.
According to Jade Helm’s official PowerPoint presentation, other participating units are USMC Marine Expeditionary Units, the Army’s 82nd Airborne, and last but not necessarily least, civilian “Interagency Partners.” The latter refers to a range of domestic law enforcement agencies including the FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Department of Homeland Security."
The FBI and DHS have nothing to do with foreign military operations. This shows this is targeted at Americans, but the military is forbidden to operate in American.
"Jade Helm presenters have stated that troops will “infiltrate” towns and cities, and rove among the civilian population, both in uniform and in civilian clothes. Roy Boyd, chief deputy of the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office, told the Houston Chronicle: “They’re going to set up cells of people and test how well they’re able to move around without getting too noticed in the community… They’re testing their abilities basically [to] blend in with the local environment and not stand out and blow their cover.”"
Why are they testing their ability to blend in here instead of in Afghanistan or Syria? This is obviously training for war on Americans.
"It is these kinds of activities, resembling counter-insurgency, that set Jade Helm apart from the previous exercises that the Army cites as similar to Jade Helm. This argument hinges on what is meant by “similar.” The scripts in those previous exercises called for Special Ops “operators” to assist local insurgents or “freedom fighters” in resisting tyrannical authorities. In Jade Helm, the US operators will apparently be working to suppress an insurgency. This will involve activities more in keeping with law enforcement, such as information-gathering from locals, moving about undercover in communities, and assaults on selected “targets.” Residents have been told to expect “increased aircraft in the area at night.”
Critics of Jade Helm note that the military is not intended nor designed to function as a law enforcement body, and that soldiers are not trained to evaluate  the legal nuances of probable cause or to safeguard the rights of civilian detainees."
Exactly.
"Given that the South Carolina exercise passed virtually unnoticed, why is Jade Helm setting off so many alarm bells? Is this business as usual—or practice for martial law, as Jade Helm critics contend? What makes Jade Helm different from previous military exercises carried out on US civilian soil?
This is where the misinformation is flying fast and furious. In his presentation in Big Springs, USASOC contractor Mead acknowledged that the exercise is actually the first of its kind. He told the audience that the closest he could come to identifying an operation somewhat resembling Jade Helm is the Army’s much smaller, annual exercise known as Robin Sage.
In Robin Sage, “The People’s Republic of Pineland” is a fictitious country spanning 15 counties in North Carolina, where US Special Forces soldiers seek out “insurgents” (played by actors) who, for the purposes of the exercise, are treated as US-backed freedom fighters. Special Forces set up “base camps” for these  fighters, with the goal of “liberating” Pineland. As such, Robin Sage is a proactive insurgency exercise. Jade Helm seems to be precisely the opposite: a counter-insurgency exercise."
That's what it's sounded like from the beginning.
"Despite this difference, Robin Sage does offer a stark illustration of what can go wrong when armies are set loose in a civilian countryside. In 2002, one soldier was killed and another wounded when a local police officer opened fire on them, not knowing they were part of the Robin Sage exercise."
I hate to say it, but that's a minor problem in comparison to an exercise designed to train the military to stalk and kill Americans. Our rulers are scared.
"But what might the military mean by “realistic environment” in the context of Jade Helm? In terms of culture and physical setting, only English-speaking America resembles English-speaking America. As a concerned resident of one of the affected small towns in Texas told a newspaper: “What place looks like this—except this?” Put another way, if Special Ops were to prowl the coffee shops of North Korea, Ukraine, or Tehran questioning locals for information, they would be rounded up within an hour. So, as Jon Stewart might have asked if he had looked a little deeper into the Jade Helm scenario, whom is America fixing to invade? Canada?"
Exactly.
"But the very definition of tyranny is the deployment of the army, intended only for foreign wars, against its own people. And if Jade Helm is not a deployment but an exercise, then, critics legitimately ask, what is an exercise for, except to prepare for some “realistic” eventuality?"
Exactly.

Police State

Judge Napolitano points out the obvious about NSA spying, but the more often it's said, the better.
"The NSA spies on all people all the time, and it's too much information for them to sift through in a timely manner," Judge Napolitano said. "That's not my opinion. That's the opinion of former NSA senior executives who were responsible for formulating the software that permits the NSA to do it."
