War

Yemeni rebels willing to negotiate. They tried that all along, but the US wouldn't allow it.

McCain and Graham blast Obama for leak of plans to retake Mosul from ISIS. I have to agree with them on this.
"Mr. McCain demanded in a letter that Mr. Obama provide the name of the official who described to reporters Thursday how the Pentagon planned to send a force of 20,000 to 25,000 Iraqi security forces, Kurdish fighters and regional police to Mosul to weed out the city’s 1,000 to 2,000 Islamic State militants."
It takes more than ten times the force plus air support? Is ISIS full of supermen?

When Obama's appointee said jobs were needed to stop terrorism, I don't think she meant terrorism. She meant insurgents resisting invasion. They're not the same thing. I think of ISIS as a militia more than as terrorists. The point of terrorism is its done by people without the means to wage war. Insurgents and ISIS are waging war.

Phony pictures used as evidence of Russian aggression in Ukraine.
"In his argument for arming the Ukrainian government, Inhofe provided pictures of alleged Russian tanks driving deep into Ukraine as proof of Moscow’s nefarious intent. These pictures were subsequently proven to have been taken in 2008, and in Georgia. Inhofe’s office quickly backtracked, stating that they had received the images from a delegation of Ukrainian commanders and officials."
If he wasn't so desperate for evidence, he would have tried to verify it.
