The debate over whether economic freedom (capitalism) or central planning (socialism) produced more prosperous economies was settled by reason, confirmed by history when the Soviet Union collapsed and China transformed, and redundantly confirmed by controlled example with the split of Korea, yet the US and the entire western world continues marching toward communism. We're the stupidest people in history. Future generations will spit on our graves for squandering the fantastic wealth bequeathed to us by previous generations, leaving future generations nothing.
