Years ago, experts were claiming Iran was running out of reclaimable oil. Here's one article predicting Iran would run out of oil in eight years, by 2015. Another article. Seven years later, experts are still claiming Iran will run out of oil in eight years, and for the same reasons: lack of maintenance and foreign investment. The reality is Iran is selling oil contracts to foreigner investors.
So much for those arguments. I bet eight years from now the same
experts will predict the same thing. Being a government expert means
never having to suffer consequences for being wrong.
