EA paid $40 million to settle the lawsuit with former college players. So they got next to nothing. EA paid next to nothing. There are no winners here, but the big loser is the consumer because of IP laws. This settlement is ridiculous. These players are voluntary public figures. Using their likenesses is natural and free.
