Another study, like the bulk of all studies on the subject, show that higher tax rates hurt the economy. Duh.

Saying government projects are carelessly managed doesn't tell the whole story. Government projects can never be well managed because the government has no prices or profits and therefore cannot use accounting to help manage them. The government can't tell what actions are valuable and what are not. Even if a government project was managed by a brilliant, benevolent, caring manager, the project would still be mismanaged.
