Police State

Comparison to health care problems provides another data point that NSA's approach of creating a bigger haystack is counterproductive when searching for a terrorist needle. That isn't what NSA is doing. They're trying to control the population, not catch terrorists, and their approach is perfect for that goal.

If Glenn Greenwald wants to get NSA leaker Snowden killed, he's doing a pretty good job.
"In an interview published Saturday in Argentina's La Nación, reporter Glenn Greenwald said, "Snowden has enough information to cause more damage to the U.S. government in a single minute than any other person has ever had," adding it would be the United States' "worst nightmare.""
If Greenwald's seen it, why hasn't he published it? Did Snowden put it on a deadman switch? The NSA should be able to sniff out and deactivate that. Apparently the NSA is not that competent. More on Greenwald's analysis. I'll believe it when I see it.

Zimmerman verdict prompts protests, but no riots, as I predicted.
