US government ruined whistleblower Snowden's chance at a fair trial by declaring him guilty of treason in public.
Police mining driver's license photos. Of course they are.
FBI investigates claim that man poisoned passengers on Tokyo-New Jersey flight. If true, the government was useless once again.
After promoting the arrest of whistleblower Snowden, it's no surprise people want him arrested.
A former CIA agent asks if Americans really love Big Brother. I don't think they do.
"Clapper also said collection programs “cannot be used to intentionally target any U.S. citizen, any other U.S. person, or anyone within the U.S.” Yet, in 2008, NSA operators told ABC News they routinely eavesdropped on telephone calls between hundreds of troops overseas and their wives and girlfriends at home in America, titillated by their intimate conversations."They're all a bunch of perverts.
"Now we know the NSA and the FBI are vacuuming up Americans’ telephone calls, emails, Google searches, parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases and all sorts of digital “pocket litter.” Vast quantities of the world’s communications are being stored in Utah, available for government inspection."Don't forget the Post Office photographs all mail.
"Now we know our monstrously expensive NSA has not really stopped terrorist attacks, including 9/11, the Boston bombings and Major Nidal Hasan’s Fort Hood massacre, and that regaining our Fourth Amendment rights to privacy will not give aid to al Qaida.Exactly. Americans are the only people with the power to end their looting, therefore they consider Americans the enemy.
Now we know the sudden flood of leaks is not damaging our security. As William Binney told The Daily Caller on June 10, “Terrorists already knew all this stuff. … So, who are we keeping this from? It’s not the terrorists. We are really keeping it from the American public. Because that’s who they’re collecting data about. And that’s who they’re keeping it secret from.”"
From high atop her high horse, judge releases Chad Johnson from jail after seven days after forcing him to apologize for disrespecting her. Apparently disrespecting a holy government official is a jailing offense.
Now silence can be used against you.
Besides fabricating fake crimes like terrorist plots, the FBI is accused of assassination.
"A victim who is manipulated, intimidated, and barraged with unfamiliar and often contradictory details and accusations will inevitably say something that could be considered incriminating – or that he might later contradict in some trivial way. Those who are drawn into FBI interrogation sessions suffer from an additional disadvantage: The Bureau’s inquisitors, as a matter of inflexible policy, refuse to permit an objective record of their investigative interviews. That's convenient.
"FBI agents always interview in pairs," writes the indispensable constitutional scholar Harvey Silverglate. "One agent asks the questions, while the other writes up what is called a `form 302 report’ based on his notes. The 302 report, which the interviewee does not normally see, becomes the official record of the exchange; any interview who contests its accuracy risks prosecution for lying to a federal official, a felony. And here is the key problem that throws the accuracy of all such statements and reports into doubt: FBI agents almost never electronically record their interrogations; to do so would be against written policy."
A 2006 internal FBI memo obtained by the New York Times insisted that laying bare the Bureau’s interrogation sessions to the unenlightened eyes and untutored ears of the lay public would be an offense akin to tearing the veil away from the Holy of Holies. The common public might mistakenly believe that "perfectly lawful and acceptable interviewing techniques" may involve "unfair deceit," and question "the quality of evidence" produced thereby."
Seven ways to improve security and privacy on the internet.
"Did you know that your webcam can be secretly activated without you being aware of it? Hackers and intelligence agencies have the ability to do this, so effective countermeasures must be taken here. This can be done WITHOUT the indicator light coming on, so you won’t even know that you are being watched or recorded. This is why I recommend taping over or covering up your webcam when you’re not using it. Why take the risk? Do you really want the government to have the ability to spy on you while you are in your bedroom? The same thing can be done on cellphone cameras/microphones, so be aware of that too. The only way your phone cannot be used to track/record you is if the battery is taken out, which is another reason why many new smartphones come with non-removable batteries these days."Most people don't know this.
