Police State

It's bad enough that police routinely kill people and get away with it, but many get away with it multiple times. And they get paid vacations for their trouble. Video on cellphone stolen by police disappears. This was predictable.

Man tells police he won't open his door because we don't live in a police state only to be proven wrong as the police break down his door and stick a gun in his face. With video.

Cops run over man for not wearing seat belt in a good reminder that every crime in the US carries the death penalty.
"He probably thought to himself: I am a grown man. No one has any more right to demand I wear a seatbelt than they have a right to insist I eat my veggies or wear a sweater because it’s cold out. Whether eating veggies or wearing a sweater on a cold day – or “buckling up for safety” – is a good idea or a bad idea is completely irrelevant insofar as it’s my self that’s involved and thus, no one else’s business. Certainly not a cop’s. Aren’t cops supposed to fight crime? When did the job of a cop become parenting or life-coaching at gunpoint? Who the hell are these people to point guns at me over my decision to not “buckle up”?"
He might have thought that, but he was fool if he didn't recognize that failing to submit carries an immediate death penalty with police officer as judge, jury and executioner. It's also a good reminder that the law has no relationship with right and wrong.

DHS shuts down bitcoin trader. Government is running scared.

Praise for criminal defense attorneys.

I'm not surprised Apple coerced other companies into adopting its ebook prices.
