Germans riot against ECB, but not because its stealing their money and giving it to the PIIGS. They rioted because of a new ECB building.

"Protesters had overcome the fences for the new ECB headquarters, but were pushed back by the police. The new building will cost taxpayers more than one billion euros and will be significantly more expensive than planned."
