Article claims Microsoft has ended support for DirectX except for Windows 8, moving forward. This seems suicide for Microsoft. OpenGL is already higher performance than DirectX, even on Windows. The only reason developers still prefer DirectX is the market penetration. If Microsoft cuts that off by only developing DirectX for Windows 8, more games will be written for OpenGL, which means they'll be easier to port to Mac and Linux. There's no reason to buy a Windows machine except for games anymore, and Microsoft seems to be killing that reason. I've long said Microsoft is dying, and it has been, but this might really accelerate its suicide.

Companies in Australia sold routers with hardcoded usernames and passwords, making it easy for hackers to take them over. Who in the world thought that was a good idea?

Praise and promotion for HAM radio. As great an idea as this is - the more HAM radio operators the better - the FCC controls HAM radio.

If this opening paragraph doesn't get you to read this article, you're part of the problem.
"When flying cross-country recently, I stood in line like everyone else for the TSA "security" check and thought about Judge Andrew Napolitano’s recent book, A Nation of Sheep. How did Americans, once known for their independence and fierce devotion to their rights, become people who easily are herded, abused, and subjected to regular state-run humiliations?"
I don't fly anymore. How about you?

You are like a bureaucrat. Lyrics.
