In another example of federal government hubris, FDA inspectors have demanded to inspect Swiss chocolate factories for bioterrorism. Apparently a new law gives the FDA power to inspect facilities all over the world if they ship food to the US. I imagine they use this as a tool of oppression because the Swiss still haven't caved to all the demands of the US government regarding Swiss bank accounts.
