Note to Mitt Romney: American leadership, which is code for US government aggression, is what got us into this mess. More aggression will just make things worse.
Obama says he's supposed to focus on the safety of government personnel.
""As president, Obama added, "my obligation is to focus on security for our people, making sure that we gather all the facts, making sure that we're advancing American interests and not having ideological arguments on a day when we're mourning.""Note to Obama: you failed. I think something more nefarious is going on that the media is telling us. The US embassy in Cairo reported offered an apology for this anti-Islam movie before any protest began. (Here's the apology. The original link at the embassy has been taken down.) When the protesters stormed the Egyptian embassy, they were chanting, "Obama, Obama there are still a billion Osamas." That's not a protest of a movie. That's a protest of the US killing Osama bin Laden and Muslims all over the Middle East. It seems to me the US must have known this attack was coming, and they preemptively tried to fool Americans into believing the protest was about the movie, not about the US foreign policy of aggression and Obama's celebration of killing Osama bin Laden.
Here's how Obama insures the safety of US government personnel overseas.
"U.S. Marines defending the American embassy in Egypt were not permitted by the State Department to carry live ammunition, limiting their ability to respond to attacks like those this week on the U.S. consulate in Cairo."The mainstream press will never cover this story. It would finish Obama.
"The U.S. ambassador to any nation ultimately decides whether Marines are authorized to carry ammunition, according to a GOP national security adviser knowledgeable about American embassy protocols."But the ambassador is appointed by the president, so it's ultimately his responsibility.
Stupid talking heads keep saying that Obama's foreign policy is to be likable and to apologize. That's a crock. Obama's foreign policy is to kill Muslims in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Syria, and Nigeria, that we know about. He's also undoubtedly waging undeclared war in many other countries we don't know about.
Here's some more telling information about the attacks:
"One of the Egyptian demonstration’s organizers was Mohamed al-Zawahiri, the brother of the top deputy to Osama bin Laden, and a planner of the 9/11 attacks, which were led by Mohamed Atta, an Egyptian citizen."These attacks had nothing to do with a movie. The movie appears to have been a tool to get protesters into the streets to provide cover for the terrorists the US has allied itself with in Libya and Syria.
It's nice to see Kirsten Powers criticize Obama and the media for focusing on Romney's statement instead of the attacks and Obama's policies.
As I speculated to my girlfriend yesterday, the supposedly Israeli Jew who made the anti-Mohammad movie that supposedly sparked these protests seems to be a fraud. Nobody in Hollywood knows him.
". . . has ever heard of the "Israeli-Jewish" businessman (as USA Today describes him) who claims to have made the anti-Muslim "movie" that is being protested in the Middle East. Michael Medved calls it below high school quality. Neither he nor anyone else in Hollywood seems to know the guy who made the "movie" or any of the hundred or so "actors" in it."This sounds like something cooked up by the the CIA, the CFR and the Bilderbergers. Or maybe Mossad in an attempt to sway US opinion to back a strike on Iran. Now we find out that the movie was a transparent fraud.
"Now we are seeing that it was indeed a fraud — actors were hired on the ruse that it was a history of Egypt 2,000 years ago and offensive dialogue was dubbed in after the fact. Crudely, as if the makers wanted it to be transparently fraudulent."I guess it could have been done by the Muslim Brotherhood or al Qaeda to spark protests to cover their actions.
Do you ever notice how nobody ever storms a Swiss embassy?
Fear of collaboration between the Iranian and Egyptian governments.
