Education

High school sophomore stabs 20 at high school.
"After the attack began, a pupil yanked a fire alarm, causing confusion as hundreds of teenagers were arriving for the start of classes, Seefeld said."
"Once the alarm went off, he said, pupils did what they have been taught to do: They ran.
“We saw people running everywhere,” he said. “In a situation like this, you want the students to run … you want the kids to get out of the area, and they did.”"
They've been taught to panic?
"Seefeld said the school's vice principal “had contact” with the assailant and helped subdue him but was not injured.
""Dahlke said security guards were alerted to the stabbing by a school alarm and that at least two responded.
“They were trying to get the weapons away from him,” said Dahlke. He said the security guard tackled the assailant to keep him from wrestling with another guard, who was trying to disarm him."
They responded after 20 people had been stabbed. Was this kid hooked on government drugs? He was shy, and that's often euphemism for medicated.
